My brothers and I along with our wives have been pretty excited about preparations for my father’s party. It will be the first Birthday Party Celebration he’s ever had. We searched for a value priced custom printed card that we could send in the mail but the prices were just too high for our budget then I received a YouVivid.net invitation from a friend for her 60th Birthday party. I thought this is just what we need and I shared it with our planning committee. The committee agreed we could let go of the traditional way of having to search for printed invitations, then buy stamps, then put them in the mail and have to wait days or weeks for an RSVP response. We decided to embrace new technology and utilize YouVivid.net to instantly deliver our invitations to most of our potential guest. We did have to send a few printed invitations to friends and family who still have flip phones or no cell phone at all.
YouVivid is a great site to invite friends and family to planned events for free with ads or without for reasonable fee.
- I was able to choose a template, craft the invitation and upload photos for a beautiful digital invitation in minutes. The platform is very user friendly and easy to use. It made my life so much easier and I could put off the worry of having to pay someone to design a card for us.
- I was able to customize the invitation with plenty of design templates, with variable custom fonts, and with many colorful texts. In the content editing section, I could see that a number of font and text customization options were available.
- Other features I found beneficial were the RSVP and venue/location sharing. YouVivid integrates Google map in their production environment which makes the venue is easily e-located on the map by providing the address. And it can be used for our guests to navigate to find the correct address easily.
When the committee saw the invitation I’d created, they were all surprised and loved the Old TV template considering the occasion. We didn’t have to worry about any of our invited guest misplacing the invitation like we’ve all done because it got pushed in a corner, thrown out accidentally or slipped in with other stuff. Reminders and follow up was easy on text strings for Facebook notifications. All you have to do is scroll up to the invitation.
